Internews has been working in Sri Lanka since 2005, providing information services to vulnerable communities and delivering training to both established journalists and young trainees. East Media House discusses Dengue, Social Responsibility

The East Media House hosted a forum discussion under the theme of “Preventing Dengue, and Social Responsibility”. This was held on the 19th of July with the participation of medical personnel, sociologists and academics. Among the topics discussed, were the medical and health aspects of Dengue, and the ongoing prevention process initiated in the area, and how the community response should be worked in to prevent the spread of Dengue.
