Held on 03 July, 2010, at  9:00 a.m under the theme of “Problems Encountered by Media personnel in Trincomalee District”  at Trincomalee Media House office, 171, Power House Road, Trincomalee.

Chief Guest :  Hon. M.S. Uthumalebbe,  Minister of Provincial Road, Irrigation, Housing And Water Supply, Eastern Provincial Council.

This forum opened the door for conducive relationship between the Journalists and the Eastern Provincial Council.

Held on Sunday, 08 August, 2010, at 9:00 a.m. under the theme of “Cordial Interaction between Police and Media personnel in Trincomalee District”  At Trincomalee Media House office ,171, Power House Road, Trincomalee.

Chief Guest: Senior Superintendent of  Police, Mr.  Rathmalawinna Bandara

This forum has benefitted the journalists to create an excellent relationship with the Police department to receive news items from the police officers.

171, Power House Road, Trincomalee, under the theme of “Educational and Transportation problems in, Trincomalee District”

Chief Guest :   Hon. Wimalatheera Dissanayaka, Minister of Education, Cultural Affairs, Land and Transport accompanied by Mr. M.Uthayakumara,  Director, Transport, Eastern Province.

This forum was a fruitful and successful one. From this forum journalists received free bus pass and solved their land problems.

Sunday, November 28, 2010,  at 9:00 a.m. at Trincomalee Media House Office, 171, Power House Road, Trincomalee, under the theme of   “Let’s keep Trincomalee Town and adjoining areas  healthy and  protect our society from the killer disease, Dengue”

Chief Guest: Mr. K. Selvararaja, Chairman, Urban Council Trincomalee and his 5 committee members.

This forum was aimed to solve the disabled activities to be carried out by Urban Council in the Trincomalee areas such as collection of garbage and other health hazards. Many requests were put to the Chairman and he answered favorably to take action against any obstacles.
